For nearly 30 years, farmers at the foot of Yen Linh limestone mountain have experimented with growing more than 10 types of persimmons, but the succulent persimmon tree still survives and gives the highest yield and quality.

Le Kim Dung from hamlet 5, Trang Da commune, said that since Trang Da persimmons were VietGAP certified and recognized as a brand, more people know about them.

In addition to Trang Da persimmon varieties, Tuyen Quang is also famous for seedless persimmons in  Xuan Van commune (Yen Son).
