In 2019, An Tuong planted 50 hectares of high-quality rice, of which about 1.8 hectares are for each household. The value of the cultivation of high-quality rice reached about VND60 million per hectare.
Since An Tuong was recognised as a ward of Tuyen Quang City, its transport system has been extended. Local people have proactively responded to the movement of building inter-village roads in Vien Chau 1, Yen Dinh, Tien Vu, Thang Long, An Hoa, and Trung Viet.

Nearly 12 years since it was merged into the city, An Tuong Ward has attracted lots of investors. As a result, new urban, trade and tourism projects are being implemented such as the Mimosa urban area by Thanh Hung Investment and Construction Company Limited, An Phu urban area by Hiep Phu Company Limited, VIDEC urban area by Hanoi-based VIDEC Group (Ha Noi).
In addition, An Tuong ward has focused on developing high-tech agriculture in association with tourism. The ward has now enlisted An Tuong ECO Investment and Construction Company Limited to conduct a project in this field. Under the project, a high-tech agricultural area and ecological service area in order to effectively exploit the locality’s potential and apply the modern scientific and technological advances to agricultural production.
Thanks to the rapid development, An Tuong Ward is expected to become one of the attractive tourist destinations in Tuyen Quang in the future.
