Local people in Cao Binh Hamlet were trained to organize and operate cultural teams for tourism development.
Cao Binh village has more than 70 households of Tay and Dao ethnic groups, with more than 300 people. Although life in the village is still difficult, but in the past few years, from the attention of all levels, agencies, local authority and the efforts of people, Cao Binh is changing every day.
In 2018 - 2019, the nearly 5 km long concrete road was completed marking a new turning point of the hamlet. Along with the attention and investment of the State, the people in the village have unanimously and unitedly donated land, contributed to the concreting of inner-village roads. In 2 years (2021 - 2022), people in the village have contributed hundreds of millions of dong, donated tens of thousands of meters of garden and field land to concretize 3.5 km of concrete roads in the village.
Since there is a concrete road to the village, people in Cao Binh have promoted the structure of plants and animals. The hamlet concentrated growing peanuts, raising black pigs and breeding cattle. Many new crops have been put into production by farmers such as biomass corn, crispy persimmon, bat do bamboo, etc. The number of poor households decreases year by year.
With the advantage of majestic natural landscape and cool climate, local authority has created favorable conditions for households in the village to develop eco-tourism and community-based tourism.
In addition, the village also mobilized people to preserve their traditional cultural identity. Up to now, the village has established the Then Singing Club to perform and serve tourists.
Cao Binh is expected to be one of the attractive destinations for tourists to visit and explore in the near future.
