The delegation of Tuyen Quang Province visited and worked in Newhaven city, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

TQO - On October 31, the provincial delegation led by comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and worked in Newhaven city, United Kingdom. Joining the meeting were officials and leaders of the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Mayor of Newhaven City Paul Boswell welcomed and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged basic information on socio-economic development, experience in administrative management and operation of the elected representative official.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council expressed her feeling at the special historical significance associated with President Ho Chi Minh here. She thanked the city government and people for creating favorable conditions for identifying historical evidence about the place of President Ho Chi Minh's mark.

From Newhaven's potentials and strengths, the Tuyen Quang delegation wished that Tuyen Quang Province and Newhaven City would have an exchange and seek investment cooperation opportunities in fields of mutual interest.

Mayor of Newhaven City Paul Boswell expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of Tuyen Quang Province. He hoped that in the coming time, Newhaven city and Tuyen Quang Province would regularly exchange, share information, support and cooperate on issues of mutual concern.
