Lam Binh District celebrates 10 years of establishment.

After 10 years of establishment, Lam Binh District has made strong changes. The district has built 513 essential infrastructure works in the centre of the district and communes, and connected transportation system. The total production value of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increases by 7% per year. The district has formed a number of specialised cultivation area and animals towards agricultural commodity production region. Tourism economy has become an important economic development direction of the district. Total tourism revenue reached reached over VND64.2 billion by 2020. The average per capita income is estimated at VND30.1 million per person per year. The rate of poor households decreased from 71.12% (2011) to 31.44%. The district has also pay great attention to education and health care for local people.

Addressing at the event, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tuyen Quang Province Chau Van Lam praised the outstanding achievements made by officials, Party members, workers and local people of Lam Binh District over the past 10 years.

He urged that, in the coming time, Lam Binh District should that Lam Binh district should focus on implementing the key tasks to build officials, develop tourism into an important and sustainable economic sector of the district, improve economic efficiency of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, enhance the quality of education and health care and ensure social security.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the Provincial People's Committee Emulation Flag to collectives and individuals for their contributions over the past years.
