The project is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 will be completed in 2023 with 2 lanes, phase 2 will be implemented after 2025 with 4 lanes.

To promote investment efficiency, Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho provinces has been received additional capital support from the State in order to complete the project in 2023.

Thanks to focusing on mobilizing all resources for transport infrastructure development, the province has had strong development, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, improving people's lives, and shortening the gap with other regions.
