The event will demonstrate traditional practices of Vietnamese people during Tet, including arranging fruits, making “Chung” cakes and writing parallel sentences. A flower fair will also be held.
Artisans from various traditional trade villages will perform at the event.
The event also includes an exhibit of more than 100 pictures themed “travelling through heritages”, introducing world heritage in Vietnam, beautiful landscapes across the nation, trade villages and traditional festivals.
Notably, there will be a corner to showcase Tet before 1975. To celebrate the year of the dog, the organisation board will highlight famous celebrities in the country’s history who were born in years of the dog, along with major historical events in the years of the dog.
Visitors to the festival can enjoy typical traditional foods in the northern region.
Various art performances, street art and circus shows will be held, drawing famous artists.
Additionally, safe goods and agricultural products will be introduced and sold throughout the event.
