Tourists take part in the traditional hat dance of the Tay ethnic group.
Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Tuyet (Lam Binh) said that currently, community-based tourism is developing, leading to an increasing need for tourists to experience traditional culture. Therefore, in 2017, she founded the Ha Lam Then singing and Tinh gourd lute Club.
During the summer, the club maintains activities 3 times a week. In the new school year, the club maintains activities every Saturday and Sunday.
In order for the club to operate properly, she invited artist Ha Thuan from Tan An commune (Chiem Hoa) to teach. Artist Ha Thuan not only teaches traditional Then dances but also transmits his passion for club members. Thanks to that, the number of club members now has up to 60 members, including students and elderly people.
Currently, along with performing the Then melodies of the Tay ethnic group, the club also collects a number of dances of the Dao, H'mong, and Pa Then ethnic groups, attracting a lot of tourists to experience.
