Tuyen Quang strives to eliminate temporary, dilapidated houses for poor people

TQO - The project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province in the 2021 – 2025 period, chaired by the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, aims to eliminate 3,820 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households in the province.

To complete the project's objectives, the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province has directed the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities to proactively advise the Party Committees at the same level to issue documents to lead and direct the implementation of the project in the area; coordinate with the authorities, functional branches and member organizations to propagate, mobilize and mobilize resources to build houses for poor households.

After more than 2 years, the province has completed 157% of the plan for the entire period. Of which, the funding source under the project is nearly VND230 billion, the support source from the community is more than VND50 billion, the rest is the initiative of the families.

In addition to mobilizing resources to support funding for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, localities in the province have synchronously integrated resources from programs, plans, projects, mechanisms, and policies to support socio-economic development, and poverty reduction programs being implemented in the province.

Thereby, helping poor and near-poor households have more motivation to strive to rise up, develop their family economy, and contribute to building Tuyen Quang more and more prosperous.
