TQO - Tourist activities in Tuyen Quang Province have been temporarily brought to a halt due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. The province's tourism sector is seeking ways to reconstruct and overcome the present difficulties.

Currently, the province's tourism sector has proactively directed and recommended tourist destinations to strengthen environmental sanitation measures and develop planning for the embellishment of historical sites and construction of new tourist projects.

Meanwhile, engineers, contractors, and construction workers are rolling out efforts to complete the construction of the resort, health facility, and shopping centre within the Vinpearl Tuyen Quang complex. To date, the foundations of the project have been basically completed and the project’s progress has been accelerated.

Taking advantage of the absence of visitors amidst Covid-2019 pandemic, the provincial museum has directed its staff and employees to focus on planning the design and display of artifacts. Thanks to the display of artifacts, unique architecture, and beautiful spaces, the museum will surely attract large numbers of visitors and historical researchers in the future.

In the coming time, the sector will stimulate demand for domestic tourism activities with abundant tours and preferential prices. Local tourist accommodations must mobilise human resources and material resources to remove difficulties and regain the pace of growth in the coming years.
