Along with expanding its forest acreage and enhancing the quality of plantation timber, the province has improved the business investment environment, attracting corporations and enterprises such as Geleximco Group, Woodsland Vietnam Group and many other wood processing projects.

Geleximco Vietnam Group has invested in An Hoa Pulp and Paper Factory in Long Binh An Industrial Park since 2012, making an important contribution to industrial development in the province.

Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company has invested in 4 wood processing factories for export according to orders from the US and European countries, creating jobs for over 2,200 local workers.

In addition to the efficient operation of large-scale factories, the province has formed about 300 wood processing facilities of companies, cooperatives, and households, contributing to plantation wood consumption for local people as well as creating jobs for labourers, increasing local budget revenues, and accelerating the process of building new-style rural areas.
