Many products of Green Farm Son Duong Co., Ltd. are sold at Tuyen Quang Supermarket.
On August 30, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to support farmers to consume agricultural products during the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic. According to the Agriculture Department, the agricultural products in the province begin to ripen from now to the year-end, including grapefruit output of 30,800 tonnes and orange output of 95,000 tonnes. The priority agricultural output in the province, depending on the quarantine conditions, will account for 20% to 40%.
Right after that, the Department of Industry and Trade has developed a plan to launch the "Tuyen Quang people prioritise Tuyen Quang agricultural products" movement. In addition, the unit has proposed the Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to work with Vinmart and a number of large supermarkets in order to enter the province's agricultural products, especially orange products, to the selling system. The Department of Industry and Trade has implemented Agricultural Product Day, Agricultural Product Week of each locality according to each harvest season.
The National Agro-forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department has also actively surveyed and reviewed to bring high quality agricultural products of the province on reputable e-commerce sites such as Shan Tuyet Na Hang tea on Smartgap e-commerce site, Ham Yen king orange and Ngoc Thuy green on Postmart e-commerce site of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications, and 72 OCOP products on Viettel's Voso e-commerce website.
There are more than 200 products protected by trademarks and geographical indications in the province. Of those, there are more than 60 key agricultural products and specialties, and 2 products are granted geographical indication protection (Ham Yen king orange and Shan Tuyet Na Hang tea). To sum up, prioritising the use of Tuyen Quang agricultural products will contribute to solving the consumption problem for local farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
