Planting area codes - "The key" to export agricultural products to the world

TQO - Issuing codes, inspecting, monitoring and managing growing areas are important for agricultural products. This not only meets the standards of the markets of other countries, but also helps agricultural products develop the brand.

Soi Ha pomelo, Xuan Van commune (Yen Son) has been granted a planting area code.

By the end of 2022, the province has been granted 10 planting area codes and 2 product packaging facilities, of which My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company has been granted 4 codes with a total of 43.6 hectares of tea; Song Lo Tea Company was granted 3 codes with a total of 53.4 ha of tea; Soi Ha pomelo, Xuan Van commune (Yen Son) was granted a code with 10 hectares; Anh Duong Agricultural Cooperative, Tan An Commune (Chiem Hoa) issued a code of 10 hectares of dragon fruit; Vinh Tan tea flavor cooperative group, Vinh Tan village, Tan Trao commune (Son Duong) was granted a code of 10 hectares of tea. The two packing facilities that have been granted the code are the packing facilities of My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company and Vinh Tan Tea Production Cooperative.

In 2023, the agriculture and rural development sector will continue to promote the development of planting area codes for 20 hectares of peanuts in two communes Phuc Son and Minh Quang (Lam Binh) for export to the Chinese market.

The development of growing area codes in recent years not only helps traceability and ensures strict conditions for food safety, but also changes the mindset and awareness of people, businesses and cooperatives in organizing production. As a result, the province's key agricultural products gradually ensure food safety, meeting the requirements of domestic and foreign markets.
