Currently, all villages of the commune have standard cultural houses and sports grounds; the commune no longer has temporary houses, dilapidated houses; 100% of schools meet national standards; 100% of the inter-commune roads, the main axis of the commune are asphalted; 100% of intra-village and inter-village roads are concreted; the rate of poor households decreased to nearly 6.8%, the average income reached nearly VND52 million per person per year.

Tan Trao has promoted the potential and strengths of the locality to promote economic development and improve people's living standards. The people of Tan Trao are trying to approach and apply science and technology to production, improving the quality and value of the products, focusing on economic restructuring, plant and animal husbandry, improve production and business efficiency; building models of joint venture, association, production, building a strong brand of Vinh Tan tea, Tan Trao rice, etc.

Tan Trao today has a completely different appearance, the infrastructure is invested and built synchronously, the concrete roads are spread, and the welfare works are spaciously built.
