Faced with this reality, the Government has just assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urgently complete the review and assessment to propose amendments and supplements according to the order and shortened procedures of Decree No. 54/2019 /ND-CP on the business of karaoke services and discotheque services accordingly, including researching and amending regulations on granting business licenses for karaoke and discotheque services (completed in December 2023).

Currently, state management of karaoke service business is carried out according to Decree No. 54/2019/ND-CP dated June 19, 2019 of the Government regulating the business of karaoke services and discotheque services.
