Workers of Seshin VN2 Company Limited always ensure jobs after Tet.
Comrade Chau Thi Thu, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: “To ensure jobs, income, and benefits for workers after Tet, the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to proactively grasp the situation, inspect, and supervise employers in implementing legal regulations on wages and bonuses during Tet; negotiate with employers, pay attention to supporting workers and workers in difficult circumstances after Tet, so that workers are not disadvantaged. At the same time, businesses are requested to commit not to cut labor but to arrange reasonable working hours so that workers have a source of income. In addition, they should strengthen their grasp of the production and business situation, support businesses in dialogue, resolve workers' petitions, and build harmonious and stable labor relations.
After the Lunar New Year 2025, the production and business situation of many businesses in the province has been arranged to stabilize, creating jobs for workers. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy General Director of An Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company shared: "On the Lunar New Year 2025, the Company is the unit with the highest bonus for employees in the GELEXIMCO Group with a bonus of 1.5 months' salary (average of about VND15 million per person) and a gift of VND3 million pẻ person, so employees are very excited, confident and attached to the Company. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Seshin VN2 Company Limited, said: "The company currently has over 1,300 union members and employees. From the beginning of the year, the company has proactively grasped the working situation and aspirations of employees, thereby coordinating with the Board of Directors to implement many policies to protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees, helping them feel secure at work. Providing solutions as well as quickly finding new orders, avoiding the situation of employees becoming unemployed in the middle. In addition, during the working process, the Union and the company regularly organize dialogues with workers to resolve difficulties and problems regarding the regime as well as working conditions to stabilize and increase income”.
Ms. Do Thi Huong, a worker at Seshin VN2 LLC, said: “I have been with the company for 6 years, my current job with an income of VND6 million - VND7 million per month has helped my family stabilize their lives. Working here for many years, I see that the union organization has supported workers a lot in terms of salary and insurance regimes, which are always fully implemented by the company, especially bonuses and Tet gifts. Therefore, we are very secure, attached and return to work at the company after the Tet holiday”.
To date, almost 100% of enterprises in the province have restarted production and business after the Tet holiday; 100% of workers have stable jobs. Employee engagement creates favorable conditions for businesses to start a new year with bigger goals. This is a clear demonstration that the engagement between employees, businesses, and trade unions is increasingly harmonious, stable, and developing.
