To accelerate digital transformation in trade and tourism while helping OCOP producers, cooperatives, and household businesses enhance the value of their products, the People's Committee of Hong Thai Commune officially launched the 2026 Hong Thai Traditional Market Fair and Digital Marketplace on August 9 in Xa Thi Village.
The traditional market fair features stalls operated by local businesses, cooperatives, and household producers. The event provides an important opportunity for the locality to showcase OCOP-certified products, clean agricultural produce, and regional specialties to visitors. It also enables cooperatives and household businesses to adopt digital technologies, livestream product sales, accept cashless payments, and expand their online distribution channels. At the same time, it offers visitors a new shopping experience, attracting both local people and tourists. The operation of the Digital Marketplace alongside the traditional market fair is expected to strengthen the Hong Thai agricultural brand, promote the digital economy, and improve local incomes.
