The selling price of Dong Tien jujube is VND20,000 - VND35,000 per kg. From growing jujube, farmers in Yen Phu Commune earn over VND10 million per acre per year, many times higher than rice cultivation.
Jujube grown in Yen Phu Commune are mainly Taiwanese apples with the advantages of strong trees, less pest and disease, stable yield as well as sweet, crunchy, succulent taste.
