The Dao Thanh Y ethnic group in village 4, Tan Tien commune (Yen Son) re-enacts the coming-of-age ceremony.

The village has established a club to preserve ethnic cultural identity with 25 members.

Recently, the Yen Son District Center for Culture, Communication and Sports organized a ceremony to re-enact the coming-of-age ceremony of the Dao Thanh Y people. This is a heritage model connecting tourism itineraries, implementing the Project 6 National Target Programs in 2024.

The 'Cap sac' ritual of the Dao Thanh Y people is usually held at the end of the year or early spring. After the coming-of-age ceremony, all members attending the ceremony will receive blessings and gather together around a cozy feast prepared by the family.

The 'Cap sac' ritual can be performed for one person or for many people, but usually no more than 7 people.

For the Dao Thanh Y people, the 'Cap sac' ritual represents the people's aspiration for a prosperous, warm and happy life and the spirit of community solidarity.

Along with the restoration of the Cap Sac ceremony, the Dao Thanh Y people have made efforts to preserve and promote traditional crafts as well as practice dances, Pao Dung songs, etc.
