Organizing festivals

TQO - In addition to the annual spring festivals or spiritual festivals, many localities are now actively organizing flower festivals according to local advantages, such as the Ban flower festival, the Buckwheat flower festival, the Pear flower festival, or the Moc Mien flower festival, etc.

Organizing flower festivals is often associated with cultural and tourism promotion activities, thereby contributing to attracting tourists to the locality. This is considered an effective promotional channel, when the beauty of flowers brings soft power, positively affecting the vision of tourists, thereby attracting more visitors to the locality, more easily. Examples include the success of the Flower Festival in Da Lat, the Ban flower festival in Dien Bien, and the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival in Hai Phong.

Many localities in Tuyen Quang are starting to attract tourists from flower festivals. Initial successes include the Pear Flower Festival in Hong Thai (Na Hang). The most recent is the magnolia flower festival in Phuc Yen (Lam Binh).

However, if we only stop at taking advantage of this relatively short seasonal value without synchronizing solutions for infrastructure investment, building appropriate services, creating many rich and attractive tourism products, etc., organizing flower festivals will not achieve the desired results.
