Black pigs are raised in highland communes with the method of natural grazing, without using bran to gain weight, so the meat quality is good and delicious.

Currently, pigs weighing from 20-35kg are priced at VND90,000-VND95,000 per kg while pigs weighing more than 37kg cost from VND 75,000 to VND80,000 per kg.

Black pigs are consumed both inside and outside the province such as Bac Kan, Ha Giang, and Hanoi, etc.
