Storm No. 3 has passed, but difficulties still pile up, including stabilizing the lives of people in flooded areas.
The terrible storm has disrupted the transportation of goods in some places, leading to a shortage of essential goods, causing local price increases, affecting people's lives.
Enterprises and business households pledge not to increase prices of goods, creating conditions for people affected by floods to stabilize their lives.
However, there are still subjects taking advantage of difficult times and scarcity of goods to increase prices for personal gain.
The General Department of Market Management has just issued Document No. 2586 dated September 10, 2024 to direct the Market Management force nationwide to strengthen control of areas and inspect organizations and individuals doing business in the market. If any individuals are found hoarding goods or raising prices unreasonably to make illegal profits, they must be strictly punished according to the provisions of the law.
Therefore, the government should tighten management, increase inspection, detect and strictly punish those who take advantage of other people's difficulties to make illegal profits.
