Fresh buffalo meat of Hung My Commune at the commune's product introduction store.
Secretary of Party Committee of Hung My Commune, Le Ngoc Son said that, one of the factors that creates the deliciousness of each fiber of buffalo meat in the commune is the soil and natural clean water. In addition, the locality has abundant food source, so buffalo meat is always firm and nutritious. Besides a guaranteed diet, it is also necessary to keep the barn clean and well implement the disease prevention process.
Currently, there are about 1,000 households in Hung My Commune raising buffalo for meat, an increase the total herd of buffalo in the locality is over 2,000 buffaloes. With the selling price of VND300,000 VND per kg of fresh buffalo meat, each household averagely generates VND50 million - VND60 million per year.
The cooperative opened two stores to sell and introduce fresh buffalo meat products at Vinh Lim Residential Group, Chiem Hoa Town. Ma Thi Dieu, a member of the cooperative, shared that since opening stores to introduce OCOP products in the commune, the number of people who know about fresh buffalo meat of Hung My Commune is increasing.
