Rural infrastructure works such as electricity, roads, schools, medical stations are solidly and spaciously invested; many village and inter-commune roads are concreted; most of the villages in the district have culture houses associated with sports grounds, etc.

The district has formed and maintained 19 models of production linkages along the value chain, 15 cooperatives, 14 enterprises with nearly 2,200 households; 21 OCOP products have been developed, 10 products have been recognized as trademarks, and 1 product has been recognized as a geographical indication. Many products are competitive in the market, especially Ham Yen orange, Minh Huong duck, Bat village green tea, red flesh dragon fruit in Yen Phu commune, etc.

With appropriate investment promotion policies, the district has attracted a number of large investment projects such as: Shoe factory of CHUNG JEY Tuyen Quang Shoe Manufacturing Company Limited with a total investment of over VND575 billion, creating jobs for more than 1,000 local workers; Song Lo 8A hydropower plant with a capacity of 27MW, average power of 106.61 KWh; brick factory, wood processing factory, etc.

The district has formed Tan Thanh industrial cluster, with an area of ​​72.2 hectares, which has attracted many businesses to invest in production development.
