According to the latest report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the situation of the goods market in recent times has not fluctuated abnormally. Food and foodstuffs have abundant supply and relatively stable prices. Domestic consumption and production demand often increases in the last months of the year, along with the effectiveness of solutions to promote domestic consumption and stimulate consumption in the last months of the year, contributing to the growth of the service industry.

In order to prepare the supply of goods in the last months of the year and the Lunar New Year when people's consumption demand increases, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires sectors and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to proactively implement state management of goods under their authority, closely monitor the supply and demand developments and market prices of goods under their management to have appropriate management measures. Conduct market demand and response assessment, proactively prepare adequate sources of goods to have appropriate production, storage and regulation solutions, ensure supply, stabilize market prices for the end of the year and Lunar New Year, especially for important and essential goods such as: gasoline, food, foodstuffs, essential consumer goods with high demand at the end of the year. Strengthen the work of synthesizing, analyzing, forecasting the market prices and implementing timely reporting regimes according to regulations.

Strengthen the work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of price declaration and price posting measures; publicize price information; inspect compliance with price laws, strictly handle cases of speculation, hoarding and unreasonable price increases; especially price developments of important materials, essential goods related to production and people's lives to control inflation; Create a stable source of goods in quantity, ensuring the best quality to serve the needs of people during the Lunar New Year.
