The province has planned concentrated commodity production regions in association with the locality’s potentials and advantages, including 8.000 hectares of oranges, 4.000 hectares of pomelo, 8.000 hectares of tea and over 140.000 hectares for the timber industry and specialty fish farming area.

Meanwhile, Tuyen Quang Province has developed industrial products and traditional craft, creating more jobs for local workers. There are a lot of unique tourism products throughout the province, such as Tuyen Quang honey, com lam (rice in bamboo tube), handicraft products made from bamboo in Tuyen Quang City and Lam Binh District, specialty black pigs, and Shan Tuyet tea.
The province has created favourable conditions for enterprises and cooperatives to invest in production and processing of agricultural and forestry products in order to make high-value products for tourists.
Currently, the provincial authorities have proactively instructed the businesses, cooperatives and households to standardize their products to meet the “One commune one product” (OCOP) standards. To date, 17 products in the province have been recognised under OCOP standards.
