On the afternoon of September 14, Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, held a working session with Central Retail Vietnam, led by Olivier Bernard R. Langlet, General Director of Central Retail Vietnam, to discuss matters related to the GO! Tuyen Quang Supermarket Project. Also attending the session were Nguyen Manh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

At the working session, leaders of Central Retail Vietnam expressed their appreciation for the province’s support and close cooperation in facilitating the implementation of the GO! Tuyen Quang Commercial, Service and General Supermarket Project in the locality. The group assessed the project as one of the projects that has been implemented rapidly and smoothly in Vietnam.

The GO! Tuyen Quang project covers a total area of nearly 15,000 square meters and is being developed as a multi-utility complex. After nine months of implementation, several project components have been completed, with overall construction progress reaching approximately 75%. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in December 2026.

The group also proposed that the province consider accelerating the completion of the transport infrastructure system connecting to areas outside the project site. This would facilitate the group’s market surveys and help connect Tuyen Quang agricultural products with its retail network.

Speaking with the group’s leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh affirmed that the province considers the GO! Tuyen Quang Commercial, Service and General Supermarket Project an important commercial and service project. The project is expected to contribute to completing urban infrastructure, creating an architectural and shopping, entertainment and recreational landmark, while expanding distribution channels for goods and generating more jobs and revenue for the locality.

Regarding the group’s proposals, the province will urge relevant agencies to promptly resolve procedures related to construction, land, environment and infrastructure connections, with a view to ensuring the project opens in December 2026.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked relevant agencies and Central Retail Vietnam to conduct surveys and develop supply-demand connection programs, supporting local businesses, cooperatives and OCOP product producers in meeting the requirements of modern distribution systems at GO! Tuyen Quang Supermarket and across the group’s retail network.

Secretary Hau A Lenh expressed his hope that Central Retail Vietnam would not only complete and operate the GO! Tuyen Quang Supermarket effectively, but also continue exploring opportunities to expand investment in line with the province’s potential, needs, and new development space, particularly in shopping malls, distribution systems, logistics, e-commerce, agricultural processing and consumption, urban services, and tourism.

Such investment would help create distinctive architectural and shopping, entertainment and recreational spaces, while contributing to social welfare activities in coordination with the province. The province is committed to creating favorable conditions for the group to invest and develop in Tuyen Quang.

Later that afternoon, Provincial Party Committee Secretary Hau A Lenh, along with leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, provincial departments and agencies, and a delegation from Central Retail Vietnam, conducted a site inspection to review progress on the GO! Tuyen Quang Supermarket Project.
