Located at an altitude of more than 1,000 metres above sea level, Lung Hau Hamlet in Lung Tam Commune is home to a bamboo forest that remains green throughout the year. The green hues of the bamboo leaves blend with the blue sky, while the tall, straight bamboo stalks reach skyward to embrace the sunlight and the leafy canopy rustles in the wind. Together, they create a stunning natural landscape amid the mountainous highlands.

The bamboo forest in Lung Hau Hamlet covers an area of more than 6 hectares.

It is hoped that, in the coming years, the Lung Hau bamboo forest will fulfil a dual role by promoting tourism while serving as a sustainable source of raw materials for the traditional basketry craft.
