Discovering the beauty of Thung cave

Nestled amid the natural landscapes of Bach Ngoc Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, Thung Cave is a remarkable geological masterpiece. Its pristine beauty, naturally formed stalactites and cave formations in fascinating shapes and colors, together with shimmering, ethereal waterfalls, make it an ideal destination for adventure seekers and exploration enthusiasts.

Amid the beauty of Thung Cave, visitors can fully appreciate the pristine beauty bestowed by nature upon this land.

Thung Cave is located in Minh Thanh Village. It takes its name from a massive opening piercing through the limestone mountain halfway up the mountain range.

The perforated mountain resembles an immense natural archway, offering a sweeping view of the lush, tranquil village below.

After venturing more than 1 km into the cave, visitors are greeted by an impressive landscape. Sunlight filters through the cave entrance and passes through the rock walls, creating stunning shafts of sparkling light. Deep inside the cave are numerous passages and chambers, adorned with naturally formed stalactites and cave formations in a variety of beautiful shapes and colors.

Drops of water trickling down the rock walls add to the cave’s mesmerizing beauty.

A waterfall cascades from above into a crystal-clear, refreshingly cool stream, creating an enchanting and otherworldly atmosphere. With its largely untouched beauty, the site is expected to become an attractive trekking destination in Vietnam’s northernmost region.

In the coming period, Bach Ngoc Commune plans to gradually survey and assess the potential of Thung Cave and its surrounding areas, with a view to developing them into a destination for sightseeing and experiential tourism. Development will focus on integrating the cave landscape and natural surroundings with local cultural identity, while ensuring the protection of the environment, natural landscape and traditional cultural values.
