Thanh Tuong fermented meat

The Thanh Tuong black pig is an indigenous breed of Na Hang, domesticated from wild pigs and preserved to this day. The Thanh Tuong Inter-Village Cooperative has researched and developed fermented pork made from this black pig breed into an OCOP product, which has been certified with a 3-star rating.

The Thanh Tuong black pig is characterized by its small size, omnivorous diet, ease of rearing, and strong disease resistance. Its meat is flavorful, not greasy, and of superior quality compared to the same breed raised in lowland areas.

Thanh Tuong black pig fermented meat is made from cuts that include lean meat, fat, and skin, creating a distinctive chewy, rich, and aromatic flavor. After being marinated with local spices, the meat is naturally fermented at room temperature and then stored in a refrigerator.

Thanh Tuong fermented meat is now available at several clean food stores both inside and outside the province.
