Tuyen Quang delegation attends the 20th meeting of the Vietnam-RoK Inter-Governmental Committee
From November 13 to 14, a working delegation from Tuyen Quang Province joined the Vietnamese delegation attending the 20th Meeting of the Vietnam-RoK Inter-Governmental Committee, held in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The meeting, co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hee Sang, took place at Lotte Seoul Hotel. Both sides reviewed cooperation outcomes in recent years and discussed key areas including trade, investment, finance, energy, infrastructure, science and technology, labor, and economic security.
During the finance cooperation session, representatives of Tuyen Quang Province presented their demand for Korean ODA and reported on the progress of the project to construct the road connecting the former downtown area of Tuyen Quang City with the My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area. The project has a total investment capital of USD 41.68 million, including an expected USD 32.46 million in ODA loans from the EDCF (Korea). Tuyen Quang affirmed that all preparatory work and counterpart funding arrangements had been completed, and requested that the Korean side promptly issue a capital commitment letter and finalize negotiations and signing procedures to implement the project.

The participation of the Tuyen Quang delegation in the meeting helps strengthen cooperation between the province and Korean agencies, while opening opportunities to access ODA and preferential loans to support infrastructure development and promote the province’s socio-economic growth in the coming period.
