Amidst the complicated developments of flooding in the province, particularly the unusually high water levels upstream of the Lo River, on the night of September 30, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected Minh Xuan and Nong Tien wards.

After listening to reports from leaders of Nong Tien and Minh Xuan wards on the flood situation and response measures already in place, Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized that local authorities must not be complacent. He urged them to mobilize maximum manpower, maintain round-the-clock duty, protect local infrastructure, and assist residents in moving property while ensuring the absolute safety of lives.

The Secretary also requested the two wards to step up communication and mobilization efforts, advising residents not to sell goods or gather in riverside areas during high water levels. Authorities were instructed to closely monitor developments, proactively relocate assets to safe locations, and ensure timely support for residents’ evacuation, with priority given to the elderly and children. He also directed the preparation of detailed recovery plans so that once water levels recede, damages can be promptly addressed, environmental sanitation ensured, and people’s lives stabilized after the floods.
