Vietnam Women’s Union pays tribute to revolutionary predecessors at Tan Trao Special National Relic Site

On the morning of August 18, a delegation of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), led by Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and President of the VWU, offered incense at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site in Tuyen Quang province.

Accompanying the delegation were provincial leaders, including Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and Au Thi Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and President of the Provincial Women’s Union.

The delegation paid tribute at significant sites within the relic complex, including the Ho Chi Minh Memorial, the “Uncle Ho at Tan Trao” statue, Tan Trao communal house, Na Nua shack, and memorial sites dedicated to revolutionary predecessors. They also visited the commemorative stele marking the headquarters of the Vietnam Women’s Union from 1952 to 1954 in Lung Bung Hamlet, Tan Trao Commune.

In front of President Ho Chi Minh’s memorial and the revolutionary leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen and delegates expressed their deep respect and profound gratitude for their immense contributions to national independence, unity, and the people’s freedom and happiness.
