National Online Conference between the Government and local authorities held
On the afternoon of July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the National Online Conference between the Government and localities after administrative reform.
Speaking at the conference, the Prime Minister emphasized that the global landscape is undergoing rapid, complex, and unpredictable changes, with more difficulties and challenges than advantages. However, thanks to the strong leadership of the Party, the concerted efforts of the entire political system, and the support of the people and business community, Vietnam’s socio-economic situation in the first half of the year has seen many positive outcomes. Growth has been driven forward, macroeconomic stability has been maintained, inflation has been kept under control, and major economic balances have been ensured. Public debt and budget deficit remain well below allowable thresholds. Notably, progress has also been made across key areas including culture, society, social welfare, national defense, security, and foreign affairs.
At the Tuyen Quang provincial connection point, the conference was attended and chaired by Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Comrade Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, with the participation of leaders from provincial departments, agencies, and representatives of communes and wards throughout the province.

Industrial production value exceeded VND 13.727 trillion, an increase of 18.6%; agricultural, forestry, and fishery output reached over VND 5.127 trillion, up 5.2%; and export turnover was estimated at USD 93.1 million, a rise of 39.2%.
The provincial People's Committee has outlined several key measures to achieve the highest possible targets for 2025. These include streamlining the administrative apparatus following the merger, accelerating public investment disbursement, focusing on the development of key economic sectors, leveraging local advantages, and striving to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing by August 30.
In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the efforts made by all levels, from central to local, and urged authorities to continue operating the two-tier government system efficiently, ensuring smooth and flexible governance to create the greatest convenience for citizens and businesses. He particularly streesed the need to prevent disruption to ongoing projects to avoid resource waste, while boosting public investment disbursement and effectively implementing national target programs and social housing development initiatives.
