Amid increasingly deep international integration, strengthening global cooperation in medical knowledge exchange not only opens opportunities for sharing experiences but also helps improve the quality of medical examinations and treatment at the grassroots level. At Duc Minh General Hospital in Ha Giang 1 Ward, the presence of international student interns has become vivid proof of its orientation toward building an integrated, humane and sustainable healthcare environment.
| At the Paraclinical Department on an ordinary working morning, the familiar rhythm of machines, paperwork and hurried footsteps continues as usual. Yet today, there is a special presence. |
| Bonnie Snaith, a Diagnostic Imaging student from Australia, is attentively observing professional procedures. |
| After three weeks of internship, Bonnie has been introduced to the operation of modern medical equipment and has assisted the department in activities such as MRI and X-ray imaging. |
| As it is her first time in Vietnam, Bonnie still faces difficulties due to the language barrier. Nevertheless, she remains eager to listen to doctors’ guidance, proactively studies professional procedures, and expresses appreciation for the opportunity to access a wide range of real-life clinical cases. |
| Her enthusiasm and serious attitude have helped Bonnie quickly integrate into the working environment and the team of doctors and medical staff at the hospital. |
| At the same time, Duc Minh General Hospital has also welcomed Syakita Alifia and Shafira Ayauni – two students from Indonesia – for internships at the Pharmacy Department. |
| During their placement, Syakita and Shafira have participated in observing professional activities and learning about procedures for dispensing, storing and advising on the use of medicines. |
| Syakita and Shafira said they chose Duc Minh General Hospital for their internship because they were impressed by the quality of the healthcare system and the friendliness of the medical staff, and they also wished to directly experience the local culture and landscape. |
| Hands-on experiences in a professional medical environment not only help the interns reinforce their theoretical knowledge but also enable them to accumulate practical skills and clinical thinking, laying a solid foundation for their future careers. |
| In addition to professional duties, the interns regularly engage in exchanges, knowledge sharing and sightseeing activities together, creating memorable experiences during their time in Vietnam. |
| Beyond Bonnie, Syakita and Shafira, Duc Minh General Hospital frequently receives other international doctors and students for study visits and professional exchanges, affirming that its international cooperation activities are expanding and moving toward a more integrated and sustainable healthcare environment. |
