Tuyen Quang facilitates the issuance of chip-based ID cards

After the merger, Tuyen Quang police quickly established 37 service points for ID card and VNeID account issuance. The move marks a breakthrough in administrative reform, cutting travel time and costs for residents, especially in remote and mountainous areas.

The 37 service points include the Provincial Public Administration Center in Minh Xuan Ward and 36 others across various wards and communes, such as My Lam, An Tuong, Ha Giang 1, Ha Giang 2, Son Duong, Phu Luong, Yen Son, Trung Son, Ham Yen, Bach Xa, Chiem Hoa, Tri Phu, Na Hang, Yen Hoa, Lam Binh, Minh Quang, Lung Tam, Nam Dich, Vinh Tuy, Xuan Giang, Linh Ho, Duong Thuong, Pho Bang, Son Vi, Khuon Lung, Minh Ngoc, Dong Van, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, Quan Ba, Vi Xuyen, Bac Me, Bac Quang, Quang Binh, Hoang Su Phi and Pa Vay Su.

People can now obtain ID cards and VNeID accounts at the nearest service point, regardless of residence.

The establishment of 37 service points for ID card and VNeID issuance reduces travel time and costs, particularly for residents in remote areas.

Duong Thuong commune is home to 100% H’mong people; therefore, communal police regularly help them in granting level-2 e-ID accounts.

Since July 1, Tuyen Quang Province has received over 17,500 ID card applications and 16,450 VNeID account applications.

At each service point, residents can use their smartphones to scan QR codes and submit applications online.
