Affirming the stature of a new, dynamic and distinctive Tuyen Quang

The 1st Congress of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee (2025-2030 term) was a special event, marking the recent merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, opening up new development opportunities. The Congress reviewed the achievements of the past term and set out directions for the new one, affirming the stature of a new Tuyen Quang.

The draft political report presented at the Congress outlined the provincial Party Committee’s strategic vision, aiming to make Tuyen Quang a moderately developed province in the Northern midland and mountainous region. Delegates discussed solutions to achieve 18 key targets spanning the economy, culture, society, social security, national defense, security, foreign affairs, and Party building. Three strategic breakthroughs were emphasized: infrastructure development, high-quality human resource training, and building a strong, transparent Party organization, ensuring that every cadre and Party member serves as a role model, dedicated to the people and their work.

Under the theme: “Upholding the revolutionary tradition; continuing to enhance the leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations and members; fostering rapid, sustainable socio-economic development closely linked with national defense, security, and external affairs; marching in step with the nation in the new era of growth”, the Congress set the foundation for the newly unified province, defining long-term orientations and development strategies at a decisive juncture.

Officials, Party members, and people of Tuyen Quang expressed strong trust in the Party’s leadership and in the strength of great national solidarity to overcome challenges. They believe the Congress will chart breakthrough directions to meet the province’s aspirations for progress.
