Buckwheat flower season

In 2015, the first Buckwheat Flower Festival was held, marking a remarkable turning point for Tuyen Quang’s tourism and establishing the flowers as a distinctive tourism product that attracts visitors.

This year, more than 400 hectares of buckwheat flowers are being planted in successive batches from October to December across 12 communes in the rocky plateau region, with the largest concentrations in Dong Van, Sa Phin, Lung Cu, Pho Bang, Quan Ba and Yen Minh. Amid the chilly mountain mist, the vibrant pulse of the mountains and forests comes alive through a range of festival experiences. Together with the shimmering carpets of flowers, these activities promise to leave lasting memories in the hearts of visitors.
