As the morning sun casts its golden light over terraced rice fields turning the color of the new harvest, Hong Thai - known as the "gateway to the sky" in Tuyen Quang Province - comes alive with the harvest season of one of its signature mountain delicacies: the local pear. Replacing the dreamy, mist-covered charm of the blooming season, the pear harvest paints a picture of abundance and prosperity. Beneath the deep green foliage, clusters of round, russet-skinned pears sway gently in the breeze, preserving the crisp texture and delicate sweetness nurtured by the mountain soil.
