Phin Ho Peak, located in Thong Nguyen Commune at an altitude of over 1,300 meters above sea level, is often described as a place where the sun seems to “hang” amid clouds and mist. The harsh climate and dense year-round fog have formed a fine layer of “snow dust” that clings to the buds of centuries-old tea trees, creating premium Shan Tuyet tea that meets the stringent standards of national 5-star OCOP certification.

Phin Ho Village is home to 100% Dao ethnic residents, with more than 50 hectares of ancient Shan Tuyet tea, many of which have been recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees. Established in 2008, Phin Ho Cooperative has steadily expanded, investing in modern technology and extending its raw material area to over 140 hectares along the Tay Con Linh range. The cooperative has obtained European organic certification and produces over 100 tons of finished tea annually, supplying both the domestic market and exporting to Taiwan, China, and Europe. In 2021, its Green Tea and Black Tea (100g boxes) were officially awarded national 5-star OCOP status, opening up significant opportunities for Phin Ho’s tea to reach global markets.
