Notably, the UNESCO Global Geopark of the Dong Van Karst Plateau received two honors from the World Travel Awards: “Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination 2025” and “World’s Leading Cultural Destination 2025.” This was the first time a destination in Tuyen Quang was honored at a world-class cultural tourism award, underscoring the province’s rising international competitiveness and profile.

Looking ahead to 2026, the tourism sector will continue implementing provincial resolutions and development programs, with a focus on improving service quality, accelerating digital transformation, enhancing promotion and investment attraction, and developing tourism in harmony with cultural preservation, environmental protection, and local livelihoods. With clear strategic direction and a solid foundation, Tuyen Quang tourism is expected to achieve further breakthroughs and move closer to becoming a key pillar of the local economy.
