After working for several years in a government office, Mr. La Van Thanh - owner of Laben Ecolodge in Na Va hamlet - decided to return to his hometown to pursue his passion for nature and local culture. His 1-hectare homestay features modern architecture infused with traditional Tay ethnic patterns. The site retains native palm trees and wild grasses, creating natural check-in spots for visitors. Since late 2024, Laben Ecolodge has welcomed its first guests and can now accommodate hundreds with two stilt houses and seven bungalows.

Another young entrepreneur, Mr. Trieu Kien Cuong, chose to return home after high school to launch Trieu Cuong Homestay. In addition to offering lodging, Cuong provides hands-on cultural experiences such as traditional cooking, brocade weaving, learning Then singing, and foraging for local produce. His unique approach has attracted both domestic and international tourists. With a solid customer base, Cuong has expanded his facilities to include five single and double bungalows, all combining modern design with Tay ethnic decor.

In Coc Phat hamlet, Mr. Chau Thanh Nga and his family operate a farmstay nestled in a two-hectare fruit garden. Utilizing their family’s agricultural model, they offer guests the opportunity to explore the orchard, stay overnight, and savor local dishes crafted from farm-raised specialties, including Dam Xanh and Anh Vu fish.

Thuong Lam currently boasts nearly 30 homestays and farmstays, many of which are run by young people. With their energy, creativity, and determination to succeed on their native land, these young entrepreneurs are bringing a vibrant, professional, and culturally rich identity to community-based tourism, laying a sustainable foundation for the future.
