Viet Nam wins two Gold Medals at “Felet Viet Nam International Series 2025” Badminton Tournament

The final matches of the “Felet Viet Nam International Series 2025” Badminton Tournament took place at the Bac Ninh Provincial Sports Gymnasium on the evening of November 2 after six days of exciting competition. The Vietnamese team won two Gold Medals in the men’s and women’s singles.

The women’s singles final between Vu Thi Trang (Viet Nam) and Tonrug Saeheng (Thailand) presented the audience with many beautiful shots. After winning a close 21-19 victory in the first set, Trang lost in the second set. In the third set, with her courage and extensive experience, the Vietnamese player took the initiative, continuously leading the points and winning 2-1, bringing home the Gold Medal for the Vietnamese team.

The men’s singles final between Le Duc Phat (Viet Nam) and Jewel Angelo Albo (Philippines) was a tight affair from the first half as both sides kept chasing each point. With a final score of 2-1, Le Duc Phat excellently defeated his opponent, bringing home the Gold Medal in the men’s singles for the Vietnamese team

In addition to the two Gold Medals, the Vietnamese team won two Silver Medals in the women’s duo Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan-Than Van Anh and the men’s duo Nguyen Dinh Hoang-Tran Dinh Manh.

The “Felet Viet Nam International Series 2025” badminton tournament in Bac Ninh attracted 253 strong players from 18 countries and territories to participate, and was considered a successful tournament for Vietnamese players when they participated in 4/5 finals and won 2 championships. Through the tournament, athletes can compete, gain experience, and accumulate points to improve their rankings on the world rankings.
