For everyone, everywhere

"For everyone, everywhere" is more than just a slogan for the Tuyen Quang Provincial Red Cross Society. Throughout the 2022–2026 term, the organization translated this commitment into a wide range of practical humanitarian activities, reinforcing its role as a trusted bridge connecting organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and disadvantaged people. By effectively mobilizing and coordinating resources, the Society has ensured timely and targeted assistance while contributing to social security across the province.

Following the merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, the provincial Red Cross network now comprises 124 commune- and ward-level chapters, 2,875 branches, and 71,489 members. During the 2022–2026 term, the Society mobilized more than VND 402 billion in humanitarian resources, a 45% increase compared to the previous term. The funds supported thousands of poor households, disadvantaged people, Agent Orange victims, and other vulnerable groups through campaigns such as Compassionate Tet, Humanitarian Month, Each Organization and Individual Associated with a Humanitarian Address, and the Red Journey – Connecting Vietnamese Blood.

In disaster response, the Society effectively coordinated relief efforts under the “four-on-the-spot” principle, with total disaster prevention and response activities valued at more than VND 30.6 billion. It also received and distributed domestic and international aid, helping affected communities recover quickly and rebuild their lives.

Beyond emergency relief, the Society has focused on sustainable livelihoods and social welfare projects in remote and disadvantaged areas. Through initiatives such as Compassionate Homes, the Cattle Bank project, and the humanitarian sponsorship campaign, more than 237,000 Tet gift packages worth over VND 142 billion were distributed, 278 houses were newly built, 54 houses were repaired, and nearly 1,300 breeding cattle and goats were provided to help disadvantaged households develop sustainable livelihoods.

Community healthcare and voluntary blood donation also recorded significant achievements. During the term, nearly 500 awareness campaigns were organized, attracting more than 55,000 blood donor registrations and collecting 48,057 units of blood, meeting over 85% of the demand for emergency treatment and healthcare services across the province.

Humanitarian Month 2026 marked a major milestone, with nearly VND 66 billion mobilized to support Red Cross houses, livelihood assistance, scholarships, and Compassionate Markets. The outstanding results placed Tuyen Quang among the country's leading localities in implementing Humanitarian Month.

Looking ahead to the 2026–2031 term, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Red Cross Society will continue to accelerate digital transformation, improve transparency in resource mobilization, expand sustainable livelihood models, and further promote humanitarian values to ensure that no one is left behind.
