The Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Border Guard Station, based in Thanh Thuy Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, is responsible for managing and protecting more than 31 kilometers of border with 44 boundary markers, adjacent to Yunnan Province (China). Along this frontier, where border posts stand silently through time, officers and soldiers remain steadfast in their duty to safeguard every inch of sacred national territory.

In recent years, alongside local functional forces, the Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Border Guard Station has strengthened coordination with Chinese border management forces to conduct joint patrols and enforce laws along the Vietnam–China border. These joint patrols not only help maintain security and order in the border area but also build trust and strengthen cooperation, promoting a peaceful, stable, and developing border region.
