As a mountainous province with a large ethnic minority population, Tuyen Quang Province has identified the development of boarding and semi-boarding ethnic minority schools as a key priority.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, boarding and semi-boarding students currently account for 36.3% of the province’s total general education student population, a high proportion that underscores the essential role of this model in improving educational standards and providing better learning opportunities for ethnic minority children.
