Party leadership drives unity and development

Following the implementation of the provincial merger and the two-tier local government model in accordance with the National Assembly’s resolution, Tuyen Quang Province has entered a new stage of development marked by both opportunities and challenges. In this context, the comprehensive leadership role of the Provincial Party Committee has been further affirmed as the decisive factor in socio-economic development, safeguarding national defense and security, and building a strong Party and political system.

Immediately after the merger, the Provincial Party Committee swiftly consolidated the organizational apparatus, streamlining agencies and units to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Party committees at all levels issued thematic resolutions and specific action programs closely aligned with local realities. Working delegations were dispatched to grassroots levels to grasp emerging issues, strengthen consensus, and mobilize the people to jointly implement Party resolutions, helping stabilize the organization and build widespread trust among officials, Party members, and the public.

At the local level, Party building has been carried out comprehensively. The Son Duong Commune Party Committee has focused on strengthening grassroots Party cells and improving the quality of Party member activities. In Can Ty Commune, the study and implementation of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics, and lifestyle have been closely linked to assigned duties. Newly established communes such as Lam Binh and Thang Tin quickly stabilized operations, issued resolutions on socio-economic development, and maintained political security and social order, particularly in border areas.

Under the Party’s leadership, the local economy has maintained steady growth, with 19 out of 25 targets met or exceeded. Industrial, agricultural, and service production continued to expand, while administrative reform, digital transformation, and improvements to the investment and business environment recorded clear progress. Social welfare and cultural development were prioritized, and tourism witnessed strong growth, earning numerous domestic and international awards.

These achievements vividly demonstrate the sound and effective leadership of the Party, providing a solid foundation for the province to accelerate development in the new phase ahead.
