Over 9,500 multidimensional poor households lifted out of poverty province-wide in 2025
According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Environment, by the end of 2025 the province had 93,551 multidimensional poor households, accounting for 22.9% of the total number of households province-wide. This represents a decrease of 9,525 households, equivalent to a reduction of 2.43% compared to 2024.

Of the total number of multidimensional poor households, 62,609 are classified as poor households, accounting for 15.33%, down by 9,056 households; meanwhile, 30,942 are near-poor households, accounting for 7.58%, a decrease of 469 households compared to the previous year. The review also shows that the province currently has 314,900 non-poor households, making up 77.1% of the total.
These results indicate that poverty reduction efforts across the province have continued to make positive progress, reflecting the concerted involvement of the entire political system in implementing poverty reduction and social welfare programs and policies. However, the multidimensional poverty rate remains relatively high, mainly concentrated in ethnic minority areas and remote, disadvantaged regions, requiring authorities at all levels and sectors to continue implementing comprehensive and sustainable poverty reduction solutions in the coming period.
