Job creation contributes to sustainable poverty reduction

Through a range of innovative solutions, job creation has been effectively implemented, helping increase incomes and contribute to sustainable poverty reduction across the province.

Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs has coordinated with relevant sectors and localities to review labor demand and organize job affairs in communes and units throughout the province, aiming to connect seekers with enterprises both inside and outside the province. As a result, thousands of job vacancies across various sectors have been made available, enabling workers to find positions that match their skills and aspirations.

Service and Historical Archives Centre (under the Department of Home Affairs) has innovated its approach by expanding online and virtual job counseling and placement activities, thereby improving effectiveness and accessibility.

At vocational education institutions across the country, efforts have been intensified to renew training programs and improve training quality to better meet employers’ needs and align with labor market demand. Enrollment has been expanded in several occupations with high employment rates and strong market demand, notably automotive technology, industrial electricity, corporate accounting, and animal husbandry and veterinary services.

According to the Department of Home Affairs, in 2025 the province created new jobs for 44,730 workers, exceeding the target of 42,000 and reaching 106.5 percent of the plan. Of this total, 1,583 workers were sent to work overseas under fixed-term contracts, achieving 105.5 percent of the annual target, while the remainder found employment in domestic economic sector, including industrial parks and clusters nationwide.

Effective job creation measures have included expanding linkage in vocational training, strengthening job counselling and placement services, and attracting investment to the province.

In 2026, the province aims to continue implementing comprehensive solutions to generate new jobs, thereby increasing incomes and further promoting socio-economic development throughout the locality.
