Developing social housing for the people
The development of social housing for the people has been identified by the Party and the State as a political determination and a major task of the Party and the entire political system, reflecting the humane and progressive nature of our system. It is one of the key priorities in the country’s socio-economic development. This is both a social security issue and a driver of socio-economic growth, contributing to increased investment and consumption while ensuring social progress and equity.

In recent years, the Government and the Prime Minister have issued strong directives and implemented a wide range of tasks and solutions to promote social housing development, focusing on removing bottlenecks and accelerating implementation.
The Prime Minister has assigned specific targets for the completion of social housing units in 2025 and the following years through 2030 to ministries, sectors, and localities for implementation. For Tuyen Quang Province, the target for the 2025–2030 period is to complete 3,000 housing units, including 170 units scheduled for completion in 2026.
To achieve the objectives of the overall program, the Government has agreed to direct all levels, sectors, and localities to mobilize all social resources, particularly large real estate enterprises with sufficient capacity, experience, and a strong sense of social responsibility - those with both commitment and vision to participate in social housing development. By 2030, the targets set must be met or exceeded.
Localities are required to incorporate the assigned annual social housing targets into their yearly socio-economic development plans for implementation, while allocating adequate land funds in convenient locations with synchronized technical and social infrastructure for social housing construction. Community supervision will be strengthened to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with approved planning and designs, meet quality standards, and avoid losses and waste.
Achieving the goal of social housing development by 2030 is a major yet highly meaningful challenge. To reach this target, strong synergy is needed between the political determination of the Party and the State, the responsibility of enterprises, and the consensus of the people. Adhering to the roadmap, ensuring quality, and maintaining transparency in each project will be the key to helping the province achieve its social housing development goals, contributing to improved living standards and strengthened social security.
